It's hard, it's really hard; luckily excuses are easy. With multiple friends over from Australia, picking up some freelance work and not having the energy to check my punctuation or do some research, it was too easy to put my weekly writing on the back-burner.
I think I made it 6 or 7 weeks in a row? That's not too bad, But luckily it's all only partly true. I have been writing, just not here.
I basically had a dream come true wherein I got to write a review for the opening of a pop up restaurant. A Cuban styled Paladar with free cocktails, 5 courses and no payment required. All on a Wednesday night in SOHO, London.
How did this all one about? I'd like to think its a product of me writing here, but it's not. It's another case of who you know, not what you know, what you want to do or what you are good at.
It's for the same contact who works at Arcadia Magazine that got me to go to Parklife festival a few months ago.
I have been writing another piece for a while now, which follows the theme of food, so I will finally post that next week. No more excuses though. It makes me wonder if there is a difference between a reason and an excuse? Anyway, Let's see if I can make it to ten weeks in a row this time.
